popupsThis tip will be very short but you shouldn’t neglect it. Remember, the more time you spend familiarizing yourself with these tips, the more secure your computer will be, just like everything else, practice makes perfect.

Alright, let get this started. When you are browsing the internet, you will probably see some windows pop up with attracting messages like “Alert! You have been attacked by virus.” or “Your system is affected! Scan your computer now!”. Sometimes you may find them helpful but most of them can be harmful to your computer. Pop-ups basically a message that advertise a product or service, some even contain malicious codes, virus or trojans which might disturb and slow down your computer.

So what should we do to avoid these fake sh*ts?
Just one easy step, enable popup blocker located at the top of internet explorer.
If you are not using Internet Explorer, I strongly recommend you to use that. You can download from Here. (According to Wikipedia, 75% of internet users use Internet Explorer!)

Other steps? You can also use anti-virus programs or other programs that include popup blocker feature.

Your right. Keep up the good work. I think people need to be aware of these annoying popup telling us our computers have been affected! Trust me. This has happened to me and once you’ve been stung by them then the popups never go way until you get them fixed.
