On 15th of January, Apple rolls out super-slim laptop - the Macbook Air which is ultimately thin with 0.16 inches thick at the bottom and 0.76 inches on the top. It’s even thin enough to fit in a manila envelope!

Unfortunately, Macbook Air doesn’t include built-in optical drive for reading CDs or DVDs. Apple claims that consumers won’t miss out this feature because they can download videos and musics from the internet or install software by accessing the drives from other Macs or PCs within a network. They can also purchase external drive to read CDs or DVDs.

Macbook Air will cost $1799 when it goes on sale in 2 weeks.

My two cents:
Over time, the computer components are getting smaller and smaller, but the hardness of them may be reduced and cause them to be easier to break. Thus, users must be very careful when using Macbook Air.
