apple-get-suedOnce again, Apple was sued over allegations its iTunes online music store and iPod music players are illegally distributing digital media over the internet using patented method.

Today we’ve got Atlanta-based ZapMedia Services Inc. who’s claiming that its patent covers tech used by Apple in iPod and iTunes. The patents covers a way of sending digital content like musics from servers to multiple media players.

Apple rejected Zapmedia’s offer while in the meeting between both of them that discussing about licensing.

My views:
A company could do anything just to protect its little bit of intellectual property. Apple get sued few times ago just because of using others’ works without any licensing agreement. Licensing in Today’s Business and Economy is playing an important role. So we must learn some important points about Licensing and protecting our invention.
