If you’re a fan of The Sims, this would be the good news for you. The Sims 3 will be on sale in 2009!
Electronic Arts has confirmed that the next proper sequel to The Sims franchise will be available on store shelves in 2009. The game will be completed with a new game engine!(Improved AI?)

They also claimed that they’ve spent three years of time to develop this brand new game engine that promises greater immersion and “unlimited customisation”.

Rod Humble, head of The Sims Studio commented that Sims can go beyond the boundaries of their home lot, and immerse themselves in an open, living neighbourhood, interacting with other Sims using our new deeper personality system.

I’m a fan of The Sims too! I love the interaction between people as individuals and society as a whole in the game even if they are AI. I’m also looking forward to its arrival.
